Setting yourself up for Breathwork

Here are a few tips on how to best set yourself up for a Breathwork session.

Lying down on a mat

This practice is done lying down so grab a fitness / yoga mat or your favorite couch ! Your spine is straight so no pillows behind your neck / head please. 

Being very confortable

Exaggerate a bit your comfort, it's nice to have a blanket on you as your temperature might drop a bit since you will be lying down. You can put a bolster or cushion under your legs.

Covering your eyes

You can use an eye pillow or a scarf to cover your eyes. Covering your eyes will help slow down the rational mind a bit and get you to a deeper states of relaxation

Extra acessories

You may bring any extra accessories you are working with: stones, crystals, you can burn some incense. 

Being in a Silent place

Try as much as possible to be in a silent place where you will not be interrupted, tone down the lights.

Enjoying your time

Meet your breath practice with a curious and open mind! We are all different and energy speaks to us in different ways.
