BinneH100 I began to work with counselling and breathwork for birth preparation in 1980. It had been a heart's desire for 5 years prior to receiving my first pregnant couple. The desire revealed itself in one of my first sessions of rebirthing breathwork. The foundation reasoning from that realisation has stayed with me through the evolution of my work over these 30 years.

I was experiencing intense and sometimes painful sensations in my body in the session. I was afraid for my life. I realised that I was feeling just as I had when I gave birth to my first son. I sat up, not easy to do with a snorkel in my mouth in deep, hot water as we did it in 1975, and I said, "I have to take this to pregnant women. If they can feel all this before labour and learn how to work with their breath and their energy they won't be so afraid or have so much pain."
