Holographic Breathing Presented at Global Inspiration Conference, Ecuador By Natalia Brown

Additional Info

GIC2011Each year, people from all around the world are invited by the International Breathwork Foundation to attend a 7-day breathwork event, the Global Inspiration Conference (GIC). The GIC is hosted in a different country annually and attracts up to 200 people.  During the week we enjoy each others company, present workshops, lectures, meditations and generally broaden our horizons both personally and professionally.

Last year, I accepted Martin’s invitation to present Seminar One of Holographic Breathing at the GIC in Catalunya. I have been in training to teach Holographic for a couple of years but it was still nerve-wracking to step up to the challenge. A number of the GIC delegates had experienced Holographic Breath when we invited Martin to the UK conference as a Keynote Speaker and Workshop Leader in 2008. He was warmly received and Holographic Breathing made quite an impression on the participants. My group in Spain was very enjoyable and several people approached me on the last day to share that it had been amongst the highlights of their conference. This encouraged me to take Holographic back to the GIC in Ecuador 2011.

This year the conference was held high up in the mountains of the Andes in a thermal hot spring. Because of the logistical challenges in getting there, the conference was relatively small with 80 participants, but the energy was very big! It felt like the perfect opportunity to go to a new level. The first Seminar in Holographic Breathing attracted a large group of nearly 25 people, with as many as 5 different languages being spoken. Progress was slow but steady and all participants left feeling enthusiastic about the experience. A few days later I invited some of the Level One group to the next seminar and 9 attended. Seminar Two in Holographic Breathing is a profound breathwork experience, which offers an exploration of the space beyond breath. This journey into the depths of space was captivating for the group, who moved through the Seminar effortlessly. There were interesting questions and participants shared eloquently about their experience of this new level. Many of the group are established breathwork practitioners, interested to learn a new modality and approach to breathwork.  Once again, I found the teaching experience highly rewarding and I left with a deep sense of gratitude, to be able to share something which has been wonderfully healing and balancing in my own life.

The GIC conference takes place near Dunkirk in Belgium in 2012. Many of the group I taught in Ecuador will be there and they asked if we can go to the next level. The enthusiasm and encouragement expressed, has inspired me to keep up with my training and continue to take Holographic Breath to the International community of conscious breathers. Thank you to Martin for his patience and depth of experience as a teacher, thank you to my students who were very gentle and encouraging and an especially big thank you to the energies of Holographic Breathing.
