How can you know a relationship is right for you? This is one of the biggest questions we all have to answer for ourselves, and questions are one of the best ways to find out.
When you're first going out with someone, don't hesïtate to ask
the important questions. Of course, you need to be willing to tell the
other person how you feel about the issues you're discussing, too.
Here are some great questions to ask when you're first getting to know someone:
What do you want right now in a relationship?
What are some of your pet peeves?
What do you like to do for learning and growth?
Who are your best friends and why?
How is what you learned about relationships as a child affecting you now?
The bïgger the question, the less likely it is to have a single answer. The answers are not what's important, though--it's the willingness to open up, to considering the questions that makes a difference in a relationship.
