In this the final part of Gunnel Minett's landmark journey to understanding the healing potential of breathwork she takes a typically deep and clear look at the role of the breathwork therapist. In her inimitable style she takes apart the myths of the "new age" therapist and re-roots them within the healing framework she has shown us throughout this series of presentations.
Gunnel now bringsour attention to the role of breathwork as a part in the healing process. She looks at how it can be used and how a deep understanding of the foregoing presentations are an integral part of this healing modality.
In the tenth part of thisgroundbreaking journey Gunnel takes a look at the healing process. She shows us how an understanding of this process is essential in order for us to begin to understand the underlying healing potential of breathwork.
This is the ninth part of Gunnell Minnet's exploration into the healing potential of breathwork. In it she takes a deeper look into the roleof emotions in the cognitive landscape of our psyche and how important they are to our growth process.
In this the eighth part of Gunnel's course about the healing potential of breathwork she takes us on an in-depth look at the basic needs of the developing human being and how these needs relate to the healing potential of breathwork.
(Editor's Note: I have known Mark for a long time and I have taken part in several of his courses. Mark typifies the New Business of our Age, one with not just Heart but Soul as well. This time of year is often full of extreme busy-ness. Either the crazy busy that comes with trying to tie up all the loose ends from the year, or the anxiousness that swells from trying to get a head start on the next year. Or both.
At the same time, it seems as if something else is calling to our hearts. Spaciousness. Integration. Silence. Connection.
Instead of an article, here are two guided Remembrances. Remembrance is an ancient Sufi practice of connecting to your heart, which is fully explained in Getting to the Core of Your Business. It might be helpful to read it first if you haven't.
Consciousness is eternal. Awareness knows no death. Only
unawareness dies. To be conscious is to be alive. To be alive is to be
conscious. To remain unconscious is to choose death. If we want to get free
of the wheel of birth and death, we need to be completely awake. ! Ultimate
liberation comes only when waking up and staying awake is our primary focus
and our main passion. We were born to reach higher and higher into
consciousness… All the way to enlightenment! All the way to
ascension!

Mars turns retrograde
for Winter Solstice
On December 20th Mars turns retrograde until 10th January 2010. Just when we thought we could steam ahead with our plans, there is hesitation, delay and obstruction. It is important not to feel frustrated by this, nor to simply carry on regardless – the frustrations and delays are there to ensure that we act from our innermost heart, not from our ego. It is time to take stock and wait for the moment of Right Action to occur naturally and spontaneously, which it will when the time is right. Retrograde Mars is “priming” us to act with clarity and pure intent, when the Chiron - Neptune conjunction on 16th February accelerates us towards the Big Shift in 2012.
The Sun is now at its southern most point in
the Northern hemisphere and gives the North its longets night and
shortest day. In the southern hemisphere it is the converse, this is
the longest day and the shortest night. Here we can see and feel the
balance of the hemispheres at one the Mid-Winter Solstice and the other
the Mid-Summer Solstice. Within the symmetry of this graceful elegance
is a hint as to the key of the Solstices for us mere mortals, balance
and equanimity. Whilst held in the arms of the Solstices is the dance
of Yin and Yang, the balance of the year strib=ving to show us that
even in extremes there is harmony and right purpose, and, right
relationship.
So here we stand at the longest darkness of the
year, being rightly told that the light is about to return and that it
is in the true nature of things that the integral tension of balanced
seemingly opposites are an example of right relationship.
