The Problem of Others by Paulo CoelhoThere was once a well-known scholar, who lived in a mountain in the Himalayas. Tired of living with men, he had chosen a simple life and spent most of his time meditating.

His fame, however, was so great that people were willing to walk narrow paths, climb steep hills, swim rivers - to meet the holy man who was believed to be able to resolve any trouble of the human heart.

Annotations in Airports	by Paulo CoehloMoses parts the waters
"Sometimes we get used to what we see in the movies, and end up forgetting the true story," a friend said to once while we were looking at the port of Miami, "remember the Ten Commandments?"
Of course I remembered. Moses, played by Charton Heston, at one point raises his baton and with that action the waters were divided and the Jewish people walked through it.

"In the Bible it is different," says my friend, "in the Bible, God orders Moses to do this by saying, ‘the children of Israel are to go forward,’ and only after they start walking does Moses raise his staff to part the Red Sea.

Courage in the path is what makes the path manifest itself.

Dear Colleagues & Friends,

As some of you may - or may not - know, I have spent the last years writing a book, called “The Art of Integrative Therapy – Healing the Past on a Soul Level”, which has now find its publisher. It is an account of my experience of over 30 years of working as a trainer and therapist.

I am writing to you, as it is my sincere wish to share my knowledge and experience with as many people as I can. I want to demonstrate how Breathwork enhances and deepens the traditional process of formal psychotherapy and takes healing to levels often untouched by traditional treatments.

Right in front of our nose by Michael Brown GIC2010 keynote speakerHow often have we had the experience of looking for something – of literally turning our world upside down to find it – only to discover that what we are looking for is right in front of our nose?

Right now we humans are going through a very challenging experience. We are now having to face up to the reality that no one else is responsible for the quality of our personal experience. We have lived for countless generations believing that if we vote for the right politician, if we go to the right priest, if we find the right doctor, and if we buy the right stuff, the quality of our life will be spoken for. Yet many of us are fast discovering these outer promises hold no permanent solutions – nothing ‘out there’ appears to assist bringing resolution to how we are feeling ‘in here’.
Breath and Breathing News by Dan BruleHello Everyone,
We are into the dry season here in the Baja. With so many thirsty banana and papaya plants, so many mango, avocado, plum and citrus trees producing fruit, and so many green leafy veggies growing, we are fortunate to have the dam and the aqueduct system to supply us with irrigation water from the Sierra Laguna Mountains here in El Chorro. Andrew, Trino, Kevin, and others have done a great job of improving our water use and water harvesting capabilities. And the well? Well, the well digging is well underway!

Marcus MasonThe Equinox Sun conjuncts Uranus and Mercury, all in opposition to retrograde Saturn, and forming a T-square with Ceres (and Pluto); this tells us that we have a clear choice – we can continue playing old ego games and end up struggling against the odds, or we can embrace the spiritual and physical gifts brought by Ceres and do what truly nourishes us at the deepest levels. Ceres is on the cusp between Sagittarius and Capricorn, which is a pivotal place from where we can manifest our deepest ideals into the “real” world. When we do this, we will feel nourished by Ceres and empowered by Pluto. But, if we stay caught in the ego’s old ideas of how things should be, then Pluto is likely to manifest as a disruptive force from our unconscious, which will not be at all nourishing. Uranus conjunct the Sun means that we can “switch” our allegiance from the ego to our spiritual self in the “twinkling of an eye” – it does not have to be a long drawn-out process.

What disturbance? by Charlie BadenhopIt was six o'clock in the evening and the train platform was crowded.

I'd been to the convenience store in the station, having bought two sandwiches and a packet of juice for myself, and a small box of chocolate covered almonds for my daughter, who was waiting for me at home.

February 2010 Breath and Breathing Report by Dan BruleHello Everyone,
For the past two months, I have been playing in the gardens, working on the land, digging in the well, sitting under the stars, enjoying the sun, hiking in the mountains, soaking in the hot springs and cool streams and pools, swimming in the ocean, and generally enjoying Cabo! People have been coming and going. Lots of forward movement has taken place at Baja Bio Sana, as our project develops. And time has a way of slipping by unnoticed when you are in paradise!
