altThis article is about one of the journeys offered in holographic breathing. The journey is into the earth and creation. As well as its healing qualities this journey has been helpful for women giving birth and couples wanting to conceive.

This is how this journey first unfolded.

This is a video from Greenpeace helping us to see the future with help from the past...

altIt happened during a Rebirthing workshop in Lesotho, in Southern Africa where I lived and worked at the time. I was 34.

I had suffered from bulimia since I was 20. At first I had kept my behaviour top secret, hiding myself behind a relatively successful career. Little by little, however, I had accepted that I needed help and had finally dedicated all my free time and money to heal myself. The healing process lasted 5 years and included a course of psychotherapy, many sessions of bodywork, and numerous retreats in a Zen Buddhist center that offered all kind of fascinating therapies, including Rebirthing.

Leonard OrrThe state of transcendence resurrects the health of the body, organizes it, or reorganizes it. This has been studied scientifically by biologists. Eternal Life Energy keeps the organism organized. Death is caused by disorganization in the organism as Life Energy weakens. Organization and disorganization is determined by the dominant emotional structures of thought and the quality of our spiritual purification practices which maintain our Life Energy. If we have enough Life Energy, we can overcome and heal negative emotions and thought structures. Energy precedes mind.

GunnelHealing has become a concept that is used in a variety of situations, usually assuming that we know what it means. Still most of us only know the effects of healing rather than what healing itself involves. This applies in particular to psychological healing where a variety of different approaches have emerged since Sigmund Freud first introduced the idea of psychotherapy. As the different techniques have been established they have developed their own theories as to how healing works, sometimes contradicting each other and leading to discussion of what is right and wrong. It is not until recently that neuroscience has been able to actually identify the various parts of the healing process and offer more precise explanations.
CharlieIf you're striving to be the kind of leader people willingly follow, you'll soon discover a purely intellectual approach to leadership won't get you the results you desire.

In my experience successful leaders know how to influence the emotional experience of their counterparts in a generative manner, and there's no better way to do this than by communicating with your whole self. Having your body and your intellect communicating the same message, so that what you say matches what you do.
PauloAccording to the dictionary: deep knowledge of things, natural or acquired; erudition; rectitude.

According to the New Testament: For God's folly is beyond the wisdom of men, and God's weakness is beyond their strength. For consider, brothers, what happened when God called you. Not many of you were what men call wise, not many of you were influential, not many were of high birth. But it was what the world calls foolish that God chose to put the wise to shame with, and it was what the world calls weak that God chose to shame its strength with (Corinthians 1: 25-27).

Why Does Intense Breathing Cause Intense Feelings?

One explanation for the often dramatic results that can be achieved through intensive breathing can be found in the fear centre of our brain: the amygdala. This small organ, the size of an almond, situated deep down in our brain, is developed in the third month of pregnancy and works as an accurate storage of all events that caused fear and emotional overwhelm. It works totally unconsciously and has no reference to chronological time. This means, for instance, that the amygdala stores the memory of a barking dog I perceived as dangerous at the age of one, without taking a note about the time. So, the same fear, with the same intensity as I had experienced it in early childhood, is produced when meeting a barking dog in an adult age.

KelseyWhen you think about breathing, it seems pretty simple. Our bodies take charge and do it for us, and I would say 99% of the time we are unaware of the miraculous process of breathing happening in our bodies.

I hadn't ever thought about my breathing until about a month ago when a breathwork facilitator came to our vicarious trauma support group at work. She introduced us to breathwork and what it means to be conscious of your breath. I know what you're thinking. Hokie. It's a little woo-woo. I was thinking that too. Right then, when I started to doubt it, she began talking about her past history and the science behind breathwork.
